Dear future self,
It's 2019 and you've finally achieved your goals of graduating from San Diego State University and becoming a registered nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Science. Congratulations! I bet you anything, mom and dad are really happy and proud of you, huh? Then again, you've finally reached your major goal! Of course, they'd be proud of you! There were many hardships and obstacles you had to encounter throughout your journey, right? It's okay because I can tell you, almost everyone has had their own difficulties in their process of reaching their goals. But as for you, I know how many times you've had to deal with people being in the way of your goals, whether it regards being talked down upon or even those who puts you in situations which are unnecessary and unfair. I know there were times where all you want to do is just stay in bed and give up. You've probably even had thoughts about dropping out of college, but you know what? Do you see where all that persistence and determination has led you to become? Do you see how far you've gone? You've accomplished your goals of becoming what you've always aimed in becoming! You're finally a nurse. You can finally work at your local hospital and you're able to have that opportunity to help those in need of medical assistance. You can even work at a children's medical center, since you work well with little kids! Now that you've reached your educational goals, I need you to have that same persistence, determination, and motivation in the process of accomplishing your personal career goals.
Sincerely,
Present Self
