Educational Goals Since this is barely my first semester of starting college, my educational goals currently consists of passing all of my courses with at least a B or higher. That will allow me to move onto registering for the following subsequent courses that I must take in order to meet my transfer requirements. After meeting all of my requirements, I'd like to transfer to San Diego State University after attending Pasadena City College after about two to three years. Then after attending SDSU for another few years, I'd like to graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with at least a 3.0 GPA or higher.

career goals I have taken quite a few online career assessments, but because most of my results were the same, I have posted to the left only one of my results. Although the assessment stated that I should put majoring in accounting, financial management, administration, office management, computer science or becoming a compliance officer, historian, auditor, or even a researcher into consideration, I don't feel like that's what's best suited for me.
Due to the fact that I really enjoy the feeling of knowing I've helped someone out regardless of what the favor is, my career goal is to become a registered nurse and be finally be able to aid those in need to any medical assistance. Another reason is because, due to my research, becoming a registered nurse if one of the most safest jobs nowadays even though the medical field is found to be very competitive. Being a registered nurse comes with really good pays and you can make your own living off of it. |
Personal Goals My personal goal consists of overcoming my many issues involving procrastination, priorities, or even how to come up with "Plan B's." I want to be able to overcome my difficulties and become more responsible. Also for my own personal reasons, I believe that if I reach my goals of becoming a nurse, I will gain respect from my family and relatives because of the fact that I grew up being talked down upon and was always doubted. I want to grow up to become successful and be able to finally support myself. I don't want to always feel the need to turn to and depend on my parents for everything. I want to be responsible for myself and whatever I need to do. I don't want to have things given to me the easy way anymore because how will I be able to learn and do things myself if I'm always having things done for me, right?
